Apex ABS470 is a rear main seal for selected Ford engines and related applications. It seals the crankshaft at the rear of the engine and helps prevent oil leakage between the engine and transmission.

Typical use includes selected Ford 122, 140, 232 and 302 engines, plus selected Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Jaguar, Panoz and Laforza applications depending on year and rear seal design.
