MAHLE Original 46467 is a front radial crankshaft seal installed in the timing cover. The rubber sealing element controls oil leakage where the crankshaft snout passes through the engine front cover.
Application / fitment

Compare shaft diameter, housing bore and seal width with the removed part before installation. The crankshaft sealing surface must not have a deep wear groove, and the working lip must face the oil as specified by the engine service procedure. Press the seal in evenly with a suitable driver without striking the sealing lip.
