Melling VL-200 is a valve spring keeper, the locking component that secures the valve spring retainer to the groove on the valve stem. It is a small part, but correct fitment is critical to valve train safety.
Application / fitment
The product has broad use in selected valvetrain assemblies across many American engines. Do not select it only by engine brand; keeper dimensions, valve groove, retainer and spring type are the critical points.
