Apex ABS 368A

Apex ABS 368A is a rear crankshaft seal kit, also listed as a rear main seal set. It seals the crankshaft exit at the rear of the engine, on the flywheel or converter side.

Before installation, inspect the crankshaft sealing surface for a groove and make sure the seal lip is not folded during pressing. A PTFE seal needs a clean, dry running surface and square installation. A blocked crankcase ventilation system can force oil past a new rear seal, so check ventilation before final diagnosis.
