Valvoline Type F 822387 is a mineral automatic transmission fluid with Type F friction characteristics for older automatic transmissions and other systems requiring Ford M2C33-F or M2C33-G. The product is formulated without the friction modifiers used in Dexron/Mercon fluids.
Application / fitment
Valvoline recommends the fluid for 1980 and earlier Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles and for selected Mazda, Saab, Toyota, Volvo, and other European or Japanese transmissions explicitly requiring Type F. It may also be used in selected power-steering systems, general-purpose hydraulics, and compressors when Type F is specified.
