Edelbrock 2696

Edelbrock 2696 is an aluminum square-bore carburetor to spread-bore manifold adapter. It allows an Edelbrock Performer or another compatible 4150 square-bore four-barrel carburetor to be installed on an original Rochester Quadrajet or Carter Thermo-Quad manifold.

Application / fitment

The adapter installs between a spread-bore intake manifold and a square-bore carburetor. Confirm hood clearance, linkage, fuel-line routing and throttle-bore compatibility.

Protect the manifold openings from debris and clean the sealing surface. Install the spread-bore gasket below the adapter and the square-bore gasket below the carburetor. Tighten all hardware evenly and verify unrestricted throttle operation.
