Ultra-Power TX3 is a two-pin engine coolant temperature sensor for selected GM vehicles. The sensor provides the engine control module with a temperature-dependent signal.
Application / fitment
The product is used in many selected 1979-1998 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles using a 3/8"-18 NPT thread and oval two-pin connector. Example applications include selected Camaro, Corvette, Blazer, S10, C/K Pickup, Caprice, Firebird, and vehicles with 4.3 V6 or 5.0-5.7 V8 engines.

Compare thread and connector design with the removed sensor before installation. Do not apply excessive thread sealant because it can reduce thermal contact or contaminate the cooling system.
