MotoRad 2065-160
High-flow 160°F / 71.11°C thermostat with seal, 2.12" / 53.85 mm flange and 1.09" / 27.69 mm bypass valve.
MotoRad 2065-160 is a high-flow engine coolant thermostat with a 160°F / 71.11°C opening temperature. Its increased-flow design is intended for compatible GM housings and selected other applications requiring a lower bypass valve.
Application / fitment
Applications include selected Chevrolet and GMC vehicles such as some S10, Blazer, Sonoma, Jimmy, C/K, Silverado and Sierra versions from 1996-2013, plus selected 1999-2002 Saab 9-3 2.0 / 122 and 2.3 / 140 applications as a lower-temperature option. Compare flange diameter, overall height, bypass-valve diameter and required engine operating temperature.
- part type: high-flow engine coolant thermostat
- position: thermostat housing
- opening temperature: 160°F / 71.11°C
- flange diameter: 2.12" / 53.85 mm
- bypass-valve diameter: 1.09" / 27.69 mm
The lower opening temperature must suit the engine purpose and control-system calibration. Seat the thermostat squarely with the supplied seal after cleaning the housing surfaces.
