Victor Reinz 12-34783-01 is a set of 16 valve stem seals for selected 16-valve gasoline engines used by MINI, Chrysler, Jeep and Fiat. The seals control oil flow along the valve guides into the combustion chambers, helping reduce oil consumption and exhaust smoke.
Application / fitment
Fitment must be confirmed by OE number, engine code and valve count. Major application groups include:
- MINI One and Cooper R50 / R52 1.6 with W10B16A engine
- MINI Cooper S, Works and John Cooper Works R52 / R53 1.6 with W11B16A engine
- selected Chrysler and Jeep 2.0 / 2.4 16V engines from the ECC, EDZ and related families, including certain Neon, PT Cruiser, Stratus, Sebring, Wrangler and Cherokee / Liberty applications depending on engine code
- selected Fiat 1.6 16V applications, including 500X and Tipo with engine codes 552 63 842 and 552 68 036
- other applications using BMW / MINI OE 11 34 0 029 571 or Fiat OE 55263053 after catalog confirmation
Fitment condition: the part covers several vehicle families, so make, displacement and valve count alone are insufficient. Confirm engine code, OE number and valve-stem and guide dimensions. The set contains 16 seals, but some engines may use different intake and exhaust seal designs or part numbers.
Installation note: press each seal into position with the correct installer without loading the flexible sealing lip. Protect the lip from sharp valve-lock grooves while sliding the seal over the stem. Check valve-guide clearance before assembly because new seals cannot compensate for excessive guide or valve-stem wear.
