ENGINETECH S530V

Enginetech S530V is an individual fluorocarbon valve stem seal. The compact positive-style seal is designed for cylinder heads requiring an 11/32-inch valve stem and a 0.530-inch guide, including configurations with triple valve springs.

S530V appears in catalogues for many American engines and cylinder heads, including selected Ford and Chevrolet configurations. Fitment is determined by valve-stem diameter, machined guide diameter and available clearance inside the spring rather than by engine make alone. Measure these components and confirm the required seal design before ordering.

Measure valve-to-guide clearance and remove sharp edges before installation. Protect the sealing lip from the valve-lock grooves and press the seal squarely into place with a suitable tool, such as Enginetech 11-1687. A new seal cannot compensate for an excessively worn valve guide.
