Enginetech SG65V is a valve stem seal in OE-style / positive-metal-clad form for selected GM 6.2 / 6.5 diesel engines. The seal controls oil at the valve stem and helps reduce smoke and oil consumption through the valve guides.
Application / fitment
This seal is used in selected Chevrolet and GMC 6.2L diesel applications and selected Hummer H1 / GM 6.5L diesel applications. Before ordering, compare seal style, valve stem diameter, and seating dimensions with the seal removed from the cylinder head.

Protect the keeper-groove edges during installation to avoid cutting the sealing lip. Once installed, the seal should sit squarely on the guide and clear the valve spring.
