HEP-02A

HEP-02A is a universal 12 V low-pressure electric fuel pump. It is intended primarily for carbureted fuel systems, uses 8 mm hose connections and may operate as a main or auxiliary pump when pressure is correctly matched.

Application / fitment

The pump is universal for 12 V vehicles and equipment using a low-pressure fuel system. Specifications vary among manufacturers selling HEP-02A pumps, so check the label and measure the pressure of the actual unit.

Mount the pump close to the tank, at or below fuel level and away from water and exhaust heat. The wiring must include a fuse, relay and safety shutoff that stops the pump when the engine stops. Measure pressure at the carburetor and check for leakage after installation.
