Delphi MF0008

Delphi MF0008 is a mechanical fuel pump for selected classic Ford and Mercury carbureted engines. The pump is intended for low-pressure fuel systems where fuel is supplied to the carburetor by an engine-driven mechanical pump.

Application / fitment

The pump is used in selected Ford/Mercury applications from approximately 1965–1974, mainly with Ford Small Block 289 / 302 / 351W engines and selected 240 L6 engines. Final compatibility should be confirmed by pump style, number of fuel lines, port layout, outlet thread and fuel-line configuration.

Before installation, compare the old pump with the new one: actuator arm length and shape, fuel inlet, fuel outlet, possible return line, port position and required gasket. In classic carbureted systems, excessive fuel pressure can cause carburetor flooding, so fuel pressure should be verified after installation.
