Melling VS739 is a dual valve spring for selected GM engines. It is used in valvetrain setups requiring higher spring pressure and must be matched to installed height, cam lift and cylinder head hardware.
Application / fitment
The spring is listed for selected Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile and Pontiac applications, including selected Chevrolet 4.3 L V6 plus 305 / 5.0 L and 350 / 5.7 L V8 engines. For performance use, verify actual valve lift and coil bind clearance.
