WJB / InMotion Parts WS9449 is a rear output-shaft seal for the GM TH400 and related 4L80/4L85 automatic transmissions. It seals against the slip-yoke surface to retain ATF in the extension housing.

The seal is designed for a standard yoke sealing surface of approximately 1.885–1.887 inches. Verify yoke and housing dimensions and inspect the extension-housing bushing.

Inspect the yoke for a wear groove and check bushing play. Lubricate the sealing lip with ATF and press the seal in squarely.
