Before fitting test the float in hot water – bubbles mean a leak. Set float height and drop to the carburettor specification and check the needle and seat; a worn needle causes flooding.
Approximate fitment. The manufacturer gives makes and years without engines – the list shows the V8 engines of these makes in those years. The float fits the carburettor: check the carburettor type (AFB/AVS) and the old float shape.
