Fram C4

FRAM C4 is a cartridge bypass oil filter element for classic serviceable metal filter housings. It is used in systems where the filter is installed inside a removable canister and receives bypass oil flow.

Application / fitment

The filter appears in selected classic vehicles and equipment using a C4-type housing. Confirm outside diameter, height, center-hole diameter and the number on the removed element.

Clean the housing, inspect the center tube and replace the cover seal when included or required separately. Seat the element concentrically and check the housing cover for leakage after startup.
