Penrite Gear Box Oil 40 1L is a mineral API GL-1 gearbox oil for classic transmissions. It is intended for older designs whose gearboxes required higher-viscosity engine oil rather than modern EP-additive gear oils.
Application / fitment
The oil can be used in vintage, veteran and classic gearboxes with straight gears, synchro gears, epicyclic gears, overdrives and pre-selector gearboxes. It is intended where SAE 40 or SAE 50 monograde oil was originally specified.
