ATP GS3

ATP GS3 is a steel flywheel positioning shim with a nominal thickness of 0.089 inch. It installs between the crankshaft flange and flywheel in selected General Motors manual-transmission applications.

Application / fitment

GS3 is cataloged for a broad range of Chevrolet, GMC and selected other GM vehicles. Confirmed examples include certain 1991–2000 GMC C3500HD trucks and Chevrolet/GMC V8 applications. Exact fit depends on crankshaft, flywheel, clutch and mounting-hole pattern.

Do not install the shim without measuring clutch geometry and flywheel position. It may correct position after flywheel machining, but it also changes starter engagement and clutch location. Verify bolt length and tighten all fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer specification.
