CONTINENTAL 63848

Continental 63848 is a universal 90-degree molded heater hose with a nominal 5/8 in inside diameter. The long EPDM hose can be trimmed to length where an exact vehicle-specific molded hose is unavailable.

Application / fitment

The hose is a universal cooling and heater-circuit component for 5/8 in / 15.9 mm fittings. It is not assigned to one vehicle model and must be selected by diameter, routing and available clearance.

Route the hose without kinks and away from exhaust manifolds, belts and sharp edges. Cut each end square and secure it with clamps matched to the fittings. Bleed the cooling system and check for leakage cold and at operating temperature.
