Application / fitment
The filter corresponds dimensionally to WIX 42099 and is catalogued for selected 1968–1979 Cadillac applications. These include specified Calais, DeVille, Eldorado, Fleetwood, Commercial Chassis and Limousine models with 425, 472 and 500 CID V8 engines.
- catalogue range: selected 1968–1979 Cadillac
- selected engines: 425, 472 and 500 CID V8
- outside diameter: approximately 313.5 mm / 12.34 in
- inside diameter: approximately 275.4 mm / 10.84 in
- height: approximately 65.5 mm / 2.58 in
Compare all three dimensions with the air-cleaner housing and old element before ordering because different intake arrangements may have been used within the same model depending on year, engine, carburetion or fuel injection. The filter must seat evenly on both sealing surfaces without distorting the housing lid.
