Before fitting compare the lever shape and length, port positions and bolt spacing with the old pump. The lever must ride on the camshaft eccentric – turn the engine so the eccentric is at its lowest point. Replace the fuel filter and old rubber hoses, then check for leaks and fuel pressure after start-up – excessive pressure floods the carburettor.
Approximate fitment. The manufacturer lists models without engines – the list shows the carburetted engines of these models. Compare the lever shape and the position and threads of the fittings with the old pump.
