CVF-SBFE2CR
CVF Racing SBFE2CR is a polished billet-aluminum crankshaft pulley with two V-belt grooves for early Ford Small Block 289, 302 and 351W engines using a three-bolt harmonic balancer. It is CNC-machined in the USA from 6061-T6 aluminum.
Application / fitment
The pulley matches the early Ford SBFE accessory-drive geometry and is primarily intended for:
- Ford 289 / 4.7 L, 302 / 5.0 L and 351W / 5.8 L engines
- 1964–1969 Ford passenger cars using a factory three-bolt balancer
- approximately 1964–1976/1977 Ford pickups and utility vehicles
- selected Mustang, Falcon, Fairlane, Galaxie, Torino, Thunderbird, Ranchero, Bronco, F-100 and F-150 applications with matching accessory geometry
Fitment condition: the engine must use a three-bolt balancer, a water pump with the lower radiator hose on the passenger side and a 3 7/8 in / approximately 98.43 mm distance from balancer face to water-pump flange face. The 1969 model year was transitional, so do not select the pulley by year alone. Some aftermarket balancers may require a 0.950 in / approximately 24.13 mm spacer.
Installation note: inspect balancer condition and runout and align the crank, water-pump, alternator and power-steering pulley planes. Tighten the pulley bolts to the correct specification with appropriate thread locking. Incorrect belt alignment can throw belts and overload accessory bearings.
