Enginetech BB253J

Enginetech BB253J is a connecting rod bearing set for selected Chevrolet / GM Gen I V8 engines. These bearings run between the crankshaft rod journal and the connecting rod big end, so correct size and oil clearance directly affect oil pressure and engine durability.

Application covers selected Chevrolet / GM Gen I V8 engines from the family developed from the 1955 model year into the early 2000s: 4.3 L / 262, 4.4 L / 267, 4.9 L / 302, 5.0 L / 305, 5.0 L / 307, 5.4 L / 327, 5.7 L / 350 and 6.6 L / 400. Related Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Oldsmobile and Pontiac applications may also use this bearing style when the same engine family and rod configuration are present.
