COMP Cams 4752-16 is a set of 16 valve spring shims. The 0.060-inch shims are used to equalise valve-spring installed height and pressure.
Application / fitment
The shims are semi-universal for cylinder heads and springs compatible with a 1.640-inch outside diameter and 0.650-inch inside diameter. They are not selected by vehicle model alone. Measure every installed height and calculate the pressure change using the rate of the specific valve spring before use.

Measure and clean each spring seat and inspect it for damage. A shim must sit flat without interfering with the guide or spring. After adjustment, recheck installed height, seat and open pressure, full-lift height and the safety margin before coil bind.
