Cloyes S-431 is a timing crankshaft sprocket for a stock-style single-row timing drive in selected Ford V8 engines. It has 21 teeth, a precision-machined keyway and one timing index mark.
Application / fitment
S431 is catalogued for selected Ford Windsor 289, 302 and 351W engines as well as some 255 V8 applications. It is used in the Cloyes C-3014K set together with the S406T camshaft sprocket and C358 chain. Fitment must be confirmed by chain width, sprocket offset, fuel-pump eccentric design and engine version.
