Rostra 50-1334
Rostra 50-1334 is an electrical oil-pressure sender designed to operate an instrument-panel gauge. It uses two male blade terminals and provides a direct replacement in selected Datsun and Nissan vehicles equipped with the corresponding wiring and oil-pressure gauge.
Application / fitment
This sender is intended for selected Datsun/Nissan models using a two-wire gauge sender rather than a simple single-terminal warning-light switch. Confirmed catalog examples include:
- 1984–1988 Nissan 200SX
- 1984–1996 Nissan 300ZX
- 1980–1986 Nissan 720
- 1979–1983 Datsun/Nissan 280ZX
- selected Datsun/Nissan 210, 280Z, 310, 510, 810 and Maxima applications depending on model year, engine and instrument cluster
Fitment condition: compare the original sender number, thread, housing shape and two-terminal connector. The same vehicle line may use different parts for an analog gauge and for a warning light.
Installation note: tighten the sender using a tool supported on the metal section, never by the electrical housing. Apply thread sealant sparingly and only when permitted by the service procedure so the electrical ground path is not impaired. Check for leaks and correct gauge operation after installation.
