ANCHOR 2378
Rear rubber-and-steel transmission mount approximately 45.7 mm high with a 38.1 mm bolt centreline.
Anchor 2378 is a rear transmission mount for many classic General Motors vehicles. Its rubber-and-steel construction supports the gearbox on the crossmember and reduces vibration and drivetrain movement transmitted to the body.
Application / fitment
The mount is catalogued for numerous Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile and Pontiac vehicles. Depending on application, it may be used with an automatic or manual transmission. Confirm fitment by bolt spacing, height and hole arrangement.
- selected 1957–1972 Chevrolet Bel Air applications
- selected 1962–1982 Chevrolet Corvette applications
- selected Chevrolet Camaro, Chevelle, El Camino, Impala, Malibu and Monte Carlo applications
- selected Chevrolet/GMC pickups, vans and chassis
- selected Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac vehicles using the corresponding transmission crossmember
Do not select the mount by transmission model alone. The same transmission can be installed with different crossmembers and mount heights. This product is one transmission mount, not a complete engine-and-transmission mounting kit.
