Trans-Dapt 9126 is a heavy-duty steel distributor hold-down clamp for Chevrolet V8 engines. The chrome finish protects the steel and provides a traditional appearance.
Application / fitment
The clamp is intended for selected 1963-2006 Chevrolet V8 engines using the conventional rear intake-manifold distributor mount. Applications include 5.0 / 305, 5.7 / 350, 6.6 / 400, 7.0 / 427, and 7.4 / 454 engine families.

After setting ignition timing, tighten the nut until the distributor is securely held. The clamp must sit flat on the distributor flange and should not contact the housing outside the intended clamping area.
