Enginetech BC306J

Enginetech BC306J is a crankshaft main bearing set for selected Ford V8 engines. Main bearings are precision parts and should be verified by BC306J part number, main journal diameter, STD/undersize size and required oil clearance.

Application / fitment

The set is used in selected Ford 351W / 5.8 Windsor engines from approximately 1977–1997 and in selected Ford 351M / 400 applications from approximately 1975–1982 when the part number and bearing dimensions match. Do not rely on the engine family name alone — crankshaft journal size and bearing variant determine fitment.

Marine application: the BC306J part number is also listed as main bearings for selected marine engines based on the Ford 351W / 5.8 platform from 1977–1997. For this use, the bearings must be selected by the exact part number, main journal diameter, STD/undersize variant and required bearing clearance. Marine fitment depends on the engine base, crankshaft and marinizer configuration, not on the boat model.
