SMP 6880

SMP 6880 is a spark plug wire set for selected Ford, Lincoln and Mercury V8 engines. The 8 mm suppression-core wires are intended for replacement in classic ignition systems where wire length, terminal style and routing are critical.

Application / fitment

The set is used in selected Ford/Lincoln/Mercury V8 applications, mainly Small Block families and selected Big Block applications, depending on ignition layout and wire routing. Typical coverage includes classic and older Ford/Mercury distributor ignition systems, but final fitment depends on wire lengths and terminal ends.

Before installation, compare wire count, lengths, spark plug and distributor terminal style, coil wire presence and routing near the exhaust manifolds. Wires that are too short or routed incorrectly can cause arcing, interference and ignition misfire.
